Our take
I would choose Ecolodge Kalaluna Resort for a beach-first stay in Bahía Drake that still offers air conditioning, a restaurant and free breakfast. Playa Colorada is three minutes on foot, parking and Wi-Fi are free, and pets are accepted. Travelers expecting a high-end luxury resort will find it more modest than the word resort suggests. The perfect 10 rating rests on just 12 reviews.
- ✓Take advantage of the short walk to Playa Colorada for early morning strolls or sunset views.
- ✓Enjoy the convenience of the on-site restaurant and bar for meals and drinks after a day of activities.
- ✓If traveling with a pet, confirm the specific pet policies and any associated fees directly with the resort upon booking.
Why we love it

- Complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi
- Pet-friendly accommodation option
Why guests love itEcolodge Kalaluna Resort is an eco-lodge about three minutes on foot from Playa Colorada, with beach access, air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant and a bar. Free breakfast, free Wi-Fi and parking are included, and pets are welcome, which is useful for families traveling with one. Laundry and room service are also offered. It scores 10 out of 10, but only across 12 reviews, so I would read that as promising rather than proven.
