Totobe sits right on Coyote's gray sand, and the pool by the restaurant does most of the work when the surf is too rough for casual swimming. Rooms are simply furnished rather than styled, which keeps the focus on the beach outside the door rather than on the interiors themselves. The restaurant covers meals on site, useful given how few options exist within walking distance on this part of the coast where the nearest town is a genuine drive away. Airport transfers are arranged through the hotel, which matters more here than at properties closer to Cobano, since Coyote itself sits roughly two and a half hours from Liberia by taxi on roads that are not always paved the whole way. Pets are welcome, and the kid-friendly tag fits the overall low-key, family pace that defines the whole property from morning to night.
