F&M Guesthouse
A perfect score, on a very small sample
About this stay
The setting is quiet residential Montelimar, away from the museum blocks and their traffic, with two working kitchens within a short walk: Restaurante Gran Oriente at seven minutes and La Cochera Grill & Pizza at five. Trees hold the side streets here and the evenings are calm. The guesthouse itself is small and the listing carries no breakfast, pool or air conditioning, which the cool Central Valley nights make workable. What stands out on paper is the rating, a perfect ten out of ten, and what has to be said alongside it is the sample: five reviews. The practical strength is the airport at twenty-eight minutes by taxi, quicker than any four-star hotel in the district and useful for a first or last night.
- Small budget guesthouse
- Short airport transfer
- Residential setting
- Restaurants within walking distance
Our take
Anyone who needs certainty should choose a property with hundreds of reviews instead, because a perfect ten across five guests is a promising signal rather than a proven one. What is not in doubt is the twenty-eight minute airport transfer, among the shortest in Montelimar, and a quiet residential position with two restaurants within a short walk. Solo travellers and anyone needing a cheap bed near the airport road will find it useful.
- ✓Book it for an arrival or departure night, twenty-eight minutes to the airport is quicker than most of the district.
- ✓Walk five minutes to La Cochera Grill & Pizza in the evening, it is the closest kitchen to the door.
- ✓Read all five reviews before committing, the perfect score rests on a very small sample.
