Niru Rainforest Suites
Rainforest suites nine minutes from the hanging bridges
About this stay
The rainforest framing here is backed by a hot tub and room service rather than a bare-bones jungle stay, positioning these suites as a comfort-forward take on the nature theme. A nine-minute taxi ride reaches the Arenal hanging bridges at Mistico Park, close enough for an easy half-day without a long drive, and pet-friendly policies extend to guests traveling with dogs. Accessible rooms and a smoke-free policy run across the property, and free breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking cover the basics. Room service adds flexibility for evenings in the suite rather than out, a detail that separates this from the more basic rainforest-adjacent lodges on this list. The suite format, rather than a shared lodge layout, gives couples and small families more separation than the bunk-style rainforest stays nearby.

Our take
I would choose Niru Rainforest Suites for a couple of nights when a hot tub and air conditioning matter after a day on the trails. Free breakfast and parking keep the stay simple, room service helps on tired evenings, and pets are welcome. The hanging bridges at Mistico Park are nine minutes away by taxi, so you can plan the main outing without a long transfer. The 9.6 from 76 guests supports the choice.
- ✓Book the nine-minute taxi to the hanging bridges for a morning visit before crowds build.
- ✓Use the hot tub in the evening, a genuine comfort amenity not every rainforest-adjacent property offers.
- ✓Confirm pet policies directly if traveling with an animal, since the property is tagged pet-friendly.
